Sunday Feeling
Nova Rai · Nowhere to Be, 9 of 10

The story
Rain all morning, a book I won't read, a tax form folding in on itself on the counter. I could. But I won't. This is the rhythm of nowhere to be, and I have learned to let the silence hold me instead of filling it. Even stillness can dance, and the world can wait till Monday.
Lyrics
“No plans. Just presence.”
The sky’s been crying soft all morning
No reason, no rush
I stretch like silk across the bed
One hand on a book I won’t read
The fridge hums like a jazz ghost
Coffee… maybe
Or maybe not
Paperwork sighs from the counter
The tax form folds in on itself
I could…
But I won’t
Today is a no
This is the sound of nothing calling me
This is the rhythm of nowhere to be
No need to fix, no need to move
Just this breath, this room, this groove
Sunday feeling, slow and true
The rain drums a lazy poem on the roof
No chorus. Just vibe.
My body forgets urgency
Even the plants look sleepy
I write your name with a finger on the window
Then let it fade
The world can wait till Monday
Today isn’t made for effort
Today is velvet
Today is jazz
This is the sound of nothing calling me
This is the rhythm of nowhere to be
No need to fix, no need to move
Just this breath, this room, this groove
Sunday healing, soft and true
I used to fill the silence
Now I let it hold me
Even joy needs no purpose
Even stillness can dance
“Tomorrow comes fast. Let today last.”
