Name: You Are Here
Duration: 3 min 2 s
Description: The first thing anyone says at a fire is the simplest: I am here, you are here. Not in the sky, not far away, but here in the blood and the breath. Say it to the fire, say it to the dark, clap until your hands remember. Letting go doesn't mean vanishing. It means standing up, right where you are.

The story

The first thing anyone says at a fire is the simplest: I am here, you are here. Not in the sky, not far away, but here in the blood and the breath. Say it to the fire, say it to the dark, clap until your hands remember. Letting go doesn't mean vanishing. It means standing up, right where you are.

Lyrics

Let it go
Let it go
Not hide
Not hide
Let it go
Hey
Hey
Say it to the fire
Hey
Hey
Say it to the dark
I am here
You are here
I am here
You are here
Not in the sky
Not far away
Here in the blood
Here in the clay
Not gone quiet
Not gone small
Here in the breath
Not in the wall
Let it go
Let it go
Let it go
Let it go
Means here
Means here
Don't go quiet
Don't go down
Don't lie flat
Don't leave the ground
Burn it loud
Burn it true
The fire knows
The fire knew
I am here
You are here
Blood and fire
Bone and breath
I am here
You are here
Not the dark
Not the death
Let it go
Let it go
Not hide
Not vanish
Not small
Let it go
Means stand
Means all
Let it go
I am here
Let it go
You are here
Let it go
I am here
You are here
You are here
Here
Here
I am here
You are here
