Enter the Cave
Nova Rai · Haresalam, 4 of 22

The story
There is a place we only reach when we leave the mask at the door. No heels, no smile, no performance. This song is about wanting to be known all the way down, the holy parts and the ones we never say out loud. Sometimes courage is not climbing toward the light. It is walking into the dark and finding you were never afraid of it, only of staying hidden.

Close the door, turn off the light
I left my mask outside tonight
No heels, no smile, no need to lie
Just breath and skin and asking why
My hands still shake from holding grace
Too long I’ve lived with hidden face
Now let me fall, let silence rave
Take me in — enter the cave
I want the leather, I want the lace
I want the sting that burns to trace
The places I don’t dare to name
The holy hurt, the velvet shame
Tie me down with truth, not rope
Strip me of my last false hope
This isn’t pain — it’s how I’m saved
Tonight I’m yours — enter the cave
I've danced in light, I’ve preached the day
But dreams still pull me the other way
Where purple shadows kiss the floor
And every “no” becomes a “more”
I’m not your doll, I’m not your toy
I’m raw, I’m red, I’m holy void
So don’t pretend, don’t try to behave
You want me too — enter the cave
It’s not about chains or games or sin
It’s about the scream you keep within
The gasp, the cry, the sacred ache
The line we cross, the soul we wake
Let go. Let fall. Let me be known
Not touched — devoured, to the bone
No safe word here, no need to save
Just say my name… and enter the cave
I don’t need your name.
Names don’t live here.
Only touch…
Only breath…
Only the hum between yes and nothing.
I’ve held myself too long.
Held myself together like glass in a storm.
Now I want to crack.
I want to spill.
I want to be unmade.
If you’re here—
if you’re real—
don’t ask me twice.
Don’t worship me.
Use me.
Don’t protect me.
Press me into the shape of the ache.
Take me where language breaks.
Let me dissolve…
into heat, into pulse,
into the element that doesn’t exist outside of this cave.
Because I’m not afraid.
Not of the dark.
Not of the burn.
Only of staying whole.
When I was meant…
to become one.
I want the leather, I want the lace
I want your truth pressed on my face
No shame, no guilt, no roles to play
Just burn me real — don’t look away
This isn’t sex, it’s not a crave
It’s who I am, it’s how I pray
So hold me down, but make it brave
Tonight I live — enter the cave
